Recent get-togethers of Players for Pleasure have taken place in January, April and June 2016 at the Yorkshire College of Music & Drama, opposite the University of Leeds.

All the players were adult students, whose level of experience ranged from 3 months to several years, pre-Grade 1 to post-Grade 8. Some of the players performed their exam pieces to get experience prior to performing them in front of an examiner, others played their favourite studies and pieces which included music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods as well as blues and jazz.

If you have any questions, please contact the organiser via the contact form in the first instance.

Do take the plunge and come join us at our next get-together, which is on Saturday 3rd September 2016, and contact us in the meantime if you would like to be put on the mailing list.

"OMG thank you so much for today was amazing. It's made me even more adventurous. And determined to get good. Was great meeting you. And can't wait to meet with people again. Thanks for a wonderful time."

Two of the players who took part had never played in front of anyone before but in spite of finding the prospect daunting prior to the event, they enjoyed the experience so much that they can't wait to do it again.  Here is what one of the new members emailed after the event:
